I've had great service at many other Outback Steakhouse locations... not this one.
The lunch service here was really bad. The restaurant was empty except for four tables. Our server took our order and the Bloomin' Onion came out fairly quickly, but that's where it ended.
The waitress was great it did take a little long for us to get our food but the service was great. That's the best steak I have had in a while from a steak house. Will definitely go back.
Good service even when crowded was seated and served within 30-40 minutes. Those that ordered steaks were cooked to perfection. The seating arrangement made for extra close quarters and you had the feeling of intrusion into the tables right next to you.
Service was great, blooming onion was great, house salad was great, thunder down under was great but the porter house 22oz. was chewy, dry ,favor less. I go to Outback and always order the porter house. This the first I have ever been disappointed but I will give it another chance. It's my favorite place to get a really good steak and I don't want to give it up.
It is the manager's "personal policy" not to serve alcohol to adults over 21 with a valid, non-expired ID if it has a "red box" indicating the ID was issued when the person was under 21. She said if we'd like to drink there, we can go to the DMV and get a new ID, otherwise no. This is not a state, county, or city law or an Outback policy. It is her own. The red box normally serves as a warning to carefully inspect the birthdate before serving alcohol and even says "under 21 until..." Using it as a barrier to restrict alcohol sales, even after careful inspection, is absurd, and probably stems from some religious, anti-alcohol beliefs. We promptly left.
Basically, someone just forget about us.
We waited nearly 45 minutes for our Aussie Steak Tacos. When another server finally brought them, that have an excuse that they had a lot of curbside orders to take out. First, that shouldn't affect the priority of our order. Secondly, it was a lie, as we could see directly down the aisle to where the curbside door was, and she didn't take a single order.
