Stayed here 3 nights so we could see a few things in Chattanooga and ride the train out of Etowah. Main bathhouse was clean and well stocked. We were tent camping so it was fairly noisy due to being close to I-75. The single bathroom near the tent area was not restocked or cleaned while we were there. The staff was friendly and helpful. This seems to mainly be an RV campground, with the tent area being an afterthought, although there were multiple large dirt piles the staff said were going to be used to make some more tent sites.
I would recommend this campground for a one night stay or two maybe. I have been here for about a week. One thing I do not like is the Wi-Fi is constantly going off and basically you might as well not even have it. Also the pricing is a little high for quality of campground. Other than that, it was great!
We stayed here because Chester Falls and a few other places were completely booked. It was a little more expensive than we would have hoped, but the facilities were great. Clean bathrooms and plenty of activities to choose from around the grounds. It was also nice that Pizza Hut delivers, and you can get firewood on site.
Great place to visit. Friendly staff, clean facilities and an amazing view. Definitely recommend this camp site
Great place! Everyone was friendly and helpful. Super clean grounds and well-kept and we were there on a very busy weekend, before the Eclipse. Felt like we were in the country because of the trees but its conveniently located. Would definitely stay here again!
