Greg and his team handled my son’s rehearsal dinner at the Chattanooga Theatre Centre in June for 60 guests creating a perfect combination of a low country boil in a Charleston garden. I was so pleased that I called them again to cater an engagement party dinner for friends. This time I requested a fall dinner with a menu that was influenced by french cuisine. From menu planning to execution, they were flawless. The food was wonderful from the buffalo chicken pops appetizer to roasted pork tenderloin with smoked red pepper cream sauce and butternut squash ravioli (for my vegetarian guests) and deconstructed ratatouille to a dessert sampling that included mini creme brûlées and amazing macarons. They also handled my centerpiece and provided beautiful serving pieces and decorations for the buffet. My guests repeatedly told me how delicious everything was, and several asked for the name of the caterer. I was able to enjoy my guests and end the evening in a kitchen that was completely cleaned up. They are exactly what I look for in a caterer.
I have used Impressions Catering numerous times for fundraising events and the service is exceptional. Their food is wonderful and beautifully presented. Impressions is a one stop shop that has provided everything I have ever needed to create the perfect atmosphere at my events. All I have to do is give the owner, Greg Hicks, an idea and a budget and he delivers!
Impressions did such a GREAT job making my day PERFECT!! We wanted a German meets Southern menu. Greg and Jan MADE THIS HAPPEN BEAUTIFULLY!! Jan checked on us and helped with many things throughout the process. Amanda did great with the flowers. I could go on and on about how WONDERFUL everyone at Impressions was to us!! THEY ARE THE BEST!!!!
I was given the task of coordinating a Christmas Party/Event for a local business, WP Ninjas(Word Press), which was made easier by employing Impressions Catering. My contact person was Jan who was informative, professional and accessible throughout all the planning, working with me to make this a wonderful experience. They had hoped to have been allowed much more time to set up for the event but that was not possible on our end, so in light of that let me say they did an incredible job, moving quickly and smiling the whole time, even adding some thoughtful touches to some of the decor I had created for the entry way. The Display areas were set up beautifully, the food was enjoyed by all the guests, and the evening was a success. The goal of this party was for the staff of WP Ninjas to feel appreciated and valued. That was achieved and a large part of that was due to Impressions Catering. I had hoped to have this review written before the close of 2016, obviously failed at that but don't want to fail to say a public "Thank you". Impressions catered my daughter's wedding, and it could not have been more perfect. They were interested in every detail of what we wanted, from the first impression, the theme, the taste, the atmosphere, and the flow of the reception. After the decisions were made, I literally didn't have to worry about a single detail. The food tasted amazing, and the presentation was absolutely stunning. We also used their floral service. The arrangements and bouquets were among the most beautiful I've ever seen. We spent a lot of time on Pinterest, so our expectations were high. Divine Designs definitely met and exceeded our expectations!
