WORST HANDICAP ENTRANCE EVER! I am on a cane/walker due to Spondilotithesis & Arthritis in both knees. When I came to turn in my family's voter registration due to recent move, I parked in front of the building. There was a sign pointing across the street showing Handicap parking. I saw no signs for a Handicap Entrance so I parked in front of the bldg, used my cane to climb the 9 steps, holding to the wet railing on one side to get to the entrance! When I asked the Clerk about a Handicap Entrance, she said it was at the back of the building & all I had to do was go around the bldg (one block) to get there. Really?? Walk further to get there? Park ACROSS the street to get a "reserved Handicap Space", wait till the traffic light is green for me to cross & hope I get to the other side before it turns red again, then walk 1-1/2 more blocks to go up a ramp that runs the length of the bldg? RIDICULOUS! Government Bldgs are required to have Handicap entrances but making them hard to get to WITH NO SIGNAGE to direct you to it is not helpful!
