I would highly recommend Outland Expeditions if you're going on the Ocoee. Very casual, relaxed, and great group of guys to go with. I will definitely be back with my friends next time!
Really fun rafting. Everyone was so friendly and all the guides were awesome. Our guide Jason was really good. Some of the other companies had people falling out left and right from hitting rocks constantly but no body fell out in our group and Jason got us through nice and smooth.
I gotta say, I don't know why anyone would go anywhere else for a rafting experience on the Ocoee. They've definitely got the best prices, the nicest "headquarters" and the most fun filled tours. Apparently some of the other companies are restricted with what they are allowed to do, but John made sure we had the most fun on the river. If you can request anyone in particular, he's who I would go with. After 26 years of experience, there's no one else I'd feel safer with. Plus, he's got the jokes.
Great guides-we had Emily and she rocked, awesome experience and hot showers when you get off the bus. We also got some great pics for about 25$ to remember the day. Couldn't recommend them enough.
We've rafted the Ocoee 7 times over the years and have used this outfitter for all of our family and youth events. Just spent a weekend on the grounds in the cabins with 20 youth, fun and excitement the whole weekend. The entire grounds are very clean and neat, AWESOME staff, very friendly, guides are knowledgeable and safety conscience on the river. Book ahead!! These people the BEST!!!
I was visiting with about a group of 30 men from our church in Alabama. I have to say I am so happy we chose Outland Expeditions for our rafting experience. Most of us were first timers to white water rafting, but the river guides there are EXCELLENT! Our guide for the raft was Josh and he was hilarious. In all, it was a great trip and something we'll remember for the rest of our lives.
