The Villiage used to beautiful work, which is why we chose them. Apparently, that is a thing of the past.
I have always LOVED the thumbprint cookies. I was just blessed with a cake from here for my birthday. It was possibly the best cake I have ever eaten. The cake was so light and the icing is to die for. I can't wait until the next occasion that requires a cake.

DO NOT BUY YOUR CAKES HERE! If they did not have a skilled cake decorator on staff, they should have said so. It was so bad looking we could not even serve it at my daughters party. I had prepaid so my father could pick it up on the way. I would have never accepted it. I paid $32 for something that looked completely unprofessional. No one could believe that cake came from a bakery. It looked like something someone tried to make at their home, with no training.
Appalling customer service. The taste of the cake is ok however the look of the cake is absolutely not what was ordered. When asked to talk to manager they proceeded to text the conversation rather than call and be professional. Proceeded to tell was picky and argued the entire time. I'm sorry we work in customer service and if something is wrong we do everything in our power to fix the problem. We take blame and make them happy for repeat customers. We don't badger them telling them its their fault... these people are ridiculous. ..
