Little Oak is possibly the best campground I've stayed at, nice showers and bathrooms, almost always full of TP (which isn't always the case at a lot of locations) the drive is a bit to get to stores and gas stations, but the Campsite is fantastic. Most campsites via reservation, but there are a few first come first serve.
I go every summer. It might be a long ride down, but its worth it. The best part is swimming in the lake
One of the best kept secrets of South Holston Lake. This campground used to be a gravel road access only but has recently been paved. The bath/shower houses are only a few years old and camping on the lake is epic. We love it there.
