Is a nice walk, easy... It does have rocks on the path so you may trip if you're not watching..... Going through the woods not a lot of scenery but we still worthy to go...
Enjoy coming here for the cherokee powows alway have a good time. Good parking. Would recommend that trash cans be moved to a shady area since the cans are metal this summer had a hot lid to pick up due to sun burning down on them.
We got married here 20+ years ago. A beautiful place with a lot of history. It will always hold a special place in my heart. Be sure and walk down to the spring. There are little snails in it. When I was I child I took a few home and put them in my aquarium. A few months later I came home to a clogged filter. The little buggers reproduced and there were so many that they clogged my filter. Just a word of warning.
Absolutely beautiful piece of the past. Trails are great and staff very informative and friendly.
This is a charming state park with great scenery and historic structures. The park has several easy walking trails and is a great place for photo opportunities and spending time with family and friends.
