Great food. Great service. Much better than the last couple of times we went. Has a new dry-rub for the ribs that is fantastic.
3. William the server doesn't connect with his customers at ALL. He passes by the table over and over not refilling or prebussing, and has catch phrases he uses instead of engaging.
Took my lovely girlfriend out to this famous “Go-To” dinner spot and had a nice night. The big cookie for dessert really hit the spot!
While my experience with To Go orders have been great a dine in experience was the reverse for me. We were seated in a table that seemed out of bounds in terms of server sectioning. It was a long wait to be serviced. The food was indeed good as was the wait time to get a table.
1. Too many of the servers don't pay much attention to their customers, and think they are quite special.
2. Angie the manager has NO clue how to interact with an unhappy customer or even just a question. She pretty much begins the answer with defensive, non-committal things essentially meaning "I'm sorry you feel that way, but we didn't do anything wrong and you shouldn't expect so much."
4. This visit, Chelsea G took care of us better and SPOKE to us better than our own server. She saw a need and took care of it like a real server.
5. The hostesses call a name out to the people inside then stand there for 3 or 4 minutes then call again instead of simply seeing if the party is outside. This GREATLY extends our wait. When it IS your turn, they drop your menus on a table and walk off. No communication.
We were evacuated from Florida and wanted a good dinner. We had William as our server. He was awesome!! Probably one of the best servers that I have ever had, and we eat out a lot. Food was good, dessert yummy. No complaints.
